COBALT OBELISK is the identifier for a commercial contractor in Iran - potentially a government controlled front company - with connections to military intelligence entities of the Government of Iran. The group has been active since at least 2020.

COBALT OBELISK has developed multiple false-front hacktivist and cybercrime personas to conduct disruptive attacks, influence operations and other offensive cyber activities. COBALT OBELISK has operated under multiple names including Aria Sepehr Ayandehsazan, Emennet Pasargad, Eeleyanet Gostar, Net Peygard Samavat, Imannet Pasargad and Iliant Gostar.
