London, UK, 6 September 2023 – Secureworks® (NASDAQ: SCWX), a global leader in cybersecurity, today announced the expansion of its Partner First Strategy across the UK&I and Europe. Effective from today, all new Secureworks Taegis™ business across the region will be sold in collaboration with strategic solution providers and MSSPs. The announcement underscores Secureworks commitment to working with the partner community to bolster end user organisations’ cyber readiness as they invest to prevent, defend and recover from cyberattacks.
Organisations across the region are prioritising cyber resilience as they navigate a skills crisis in the face of rising cyberattacks, an evolving regulatory landscape and maturing cloud strategies. Against this backdrop, enterprises are moving away from sprawling, complex cyber estates towards a platform-based approach that implements a streamlined view of their cyber risks more efficiently and at a lower cost.
As a result, Secureworks is seeing increased demand for Taegis across the region and companies want to continue working with the partners who are already delivering their cybersecurity solutions. With Taegis, a SaaS-based open XDR platform, customers can improve their cyber defences and security postures, while benefiting from the valued-added partner services that best suit their businesses. Partner First is enabling Secureworks to scale its Taegis platform to meet demands across the region for superior threat prevention, detection, and unmatched response.
"Across Europe we see organisations of all sizes and industries facing cybersecurity challenges on multiple fronts. They are striving to understand their risk and how to mitigate it. Taegis can enable them to move swiftly and safely as they continue to deliver goods and services to their customers," said Simon Godfrey, Regional Director, Secureworks. "Taegis eliminates the silos associated with point solutions and creates one consolidated view that offers customers the best defence against a shifting threat landscape."
Secureworks is investing in its relationships with strategic partners across Europe to offer competitive discounts designed to provide economic advantage to partners, as well as provide access to sales playbooks, a partner portal, training and Secureworks market intelligence.
"End user organisations are facing a litany of cyber challenges and an ever more complex threat landscape. Buying more point solutions is not the answer to this conundrum, as it only creates more complexity and silos," said Andrew Pitt, Sales Director, Saepio Information Security. "How Secureworks has engineered their partner-led go to market enables our security architects to design best fit solutions for customers. With Taegis in the portfolio, we're able to help businesses maximise existing investments and obtain the holistic view they need to manage cyber risk aligned to their business priorities."
