SecureWorks Wins SC Magazine's "Best Managed Security Service Provider" Award Second Year Running
ATLANTA, GA., February 12, 2007 - SecureWorks, the largest managed information security services provider safeguarding 1,650 clients and more financial institutions than any other vendor, has won SC Magazine's 2007 Reader Trust Award for "Best Managed Security Services Provider" for the second year in a row. The accolade was given out as part of the 10th annual SC Magazine Award program for outstanding achievement in information-technology (IT) security. SecureWorks, which recently merged with leading MSSP LURHQ, won SC Magazine's 2006 award for "Best Intrusion Prevention", while the former LURHQ received last year's award for "Best Managed Security Services Provider." This year, SecureWorks' Managed Security Services competed against those from Alert Logic, IBM Internet Security Systems, MX Logic and Watchfire to win the "Best Managed Security Services" Award. SecureWorks' submission was among nearly 400 entries submitted in 20 technology categories. Winners in the SC Magazine Awards Reader Trust program are based on voting by more than 9,000 of the publication's readers.
