POSITION SUMMARY
Security Analysts perform real-time log analysis to provide network and data security for SecureWorks client leveraging SecureWorks’ Sherlock technology platform. - Understanding of basic network services, vulnerabilities and attacks, as well as ways to mitigate vulnerabilities

Education and Experience
- 3-5 years experience with one or more of the preferred firewall platforms, Check Point CCSE, Juniper Networks JNCIS-FWV or Cisco CCSP or GIAC GCFW preferred
- Combined experience in network engineering, network administration, systems programming, systems design, or related technical specialties
- Direct networking infrastructure engineering experience.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer/Electrical Engineering
- or Computer Science
- Experience / Knowledge of Cisco NIDS devices
- Experience / Knowledge of Cisco Security Agents
- Experience / Knowledge of Cisco Pix
- Experience / Knowledge of SourceFire NIDS or Snort IDS.
- Linux, TCP/IP, UNIX, NT, IP Routing
- Remote operations experience preferred
- Knowledge of Nessus preferred
- Experience with application scanning software (Okena, Snort, Sniffer, Fluke) a plus
Certifications Desired
- CCNA Certification a plus
- CCSP Certification a plus
- CSPFA Certification a plus
- Experience with VPN, SSL, other encryption methodology / technology a plus
- GIAC, GCIA, GCIH, GCFW, GHTQ, GSEC or similar certifications desirable.
