Position Description

SecureWorks has built the most successful direct sales organization in the Information Security industry. Much of this success is due to enabling a high-level, well trained, professional inside sales team that focuses on acquiring new clients primarily through direct selling.

Currently SecureWorks is looking to expand that team and drive additional revenues from existing target markets.

The Inside Sales person will position Managed Security and Consulting servicesfrom small to large enterprises with a focus on financial services, retail, manufacturing, utilities, healthcare and other relevant market sectors in their designated territory. The potential client point of contact will vary from CIO, CTO,CISO, CSO, VP of IT, Director of Security to Security Engineer. Successful candidates will contact prospect companies directly, attend tradeshows and security conferences, as well as respond to incoming inquiries. Inside Sales Executives will be teamed with a Direct Sales Personand reporting to the VP of Sales.

Position Requirements

Candidates should have a desire to make a career in professional sales. This position will prepare the candidate for further advancement and success in direct/outside sales. Daily activities focus on the front end sales process.

  • This position is telephone intensive. EachInside Sales Executivewill be responsible for initiating dialogue and stimulating initial interestwith potential clients.
  • Initial contact objective is scheduling subsequent discussions with the Direct Sales team for further sales process development.
  • Candidate must work well in a team environment.
  • Persistence and willingness to learn and adapt on a daily basis.
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts and communicate effectively.
